Mpls Jr Devs is a community of aspiring and less experienced software engineers and we’re putting on a special event for Startup Week this year that's open to all experience levels:
Developer Horror Stories.
Everyone’s got one. Maybe you brought down prod, wrote some really bad code, have experienced some really strange software development practices, or worked in a very odd environment. We want to hear about all of it.
Come prepared to share your best stories and be entertained, with an audience of other developers and software folks of all experience levels. Think of it kind of like The Moth, but specifically for software. The Mpls Jr Devs organizing team will be emcee-ing the event, with the help of some special guests & volunteers. You'll be able to add yourself to the list when you arrive, and we'll call people up one at a time to share their stories. If you’d prefer to share your story anonymously and have us read it on your behalf, please
fill out this form in advance.
There will be ample social time, both before and after the program, and food and non-acloholic beverages will be provided. Please email us at
mplsjrdevs@gmail.com if you have any dietary restrictions, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
This event is open to all experience levels, ages, races, ethnicities, and personal gender pronouns. We have a
code of conduct, and we expect you to follow it.
Additional details on getting to the venue will be added later.
Thanks to our sponsors for making this event possible:
