If you’re a fan of ABC’s Shark Tank, then this is the event for you! Ten ethnic minority owned businesses will make their best case in ten minutes or less to a panel of judges regarding why their businesses are poised for growth.
In addition to food, drink and networking, this high-profile event will offer attendees a sneak peek at future vendors and companies to potentially invest in or even acquire while at the same time educating and lifting up minority businesses. This event is sponsored by Meda (Metropolitan Economic Development Association), a nonprofit that provides business consulting, access to capital, and market opportunities for minority entrepreneurs. Partners include the City of Saint Paul, the Gary S. Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, the Association for Enterprise Opportunity and Travelers.
