I am a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with a B.A. in Liberal Studies from St. John’s University/College of St. Benedict, and a MBA with a concentration in Finance & Risk Management from Walden University, and a MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Globe University. I also have doctorate coursework in Finance. I am a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Institute of Management Accountants, and was selected as a member of Sigma Iota Epsilon the national honor society for Management.

My professional career is quite varied as I was a VP of Operations for a multi-million-dollar corporation, before transitioning into consulting, and education. I also have experience with international and non-profit accounting and finance, having done seminars overseas, and have served on the board of directors for a non-profit as Treasurer.  I am currently a finance/accounting consultant acting as CFO for multi-million dollar corporation while also consulting in project management servicing projects for fortune 500 companies, as well as Minnesota Collegiate DECA as their Director of Operations.
I also have been an assistant professor for Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in both the bachelor’s and the graduate programs, since 2016. But I have been a professor at the post-secondary level for the past 13 years instructing, business, accounting, and finance courses. I have also been a member of Colegiate DECA serving as an advisor since 2010.

I live on a hobby farm just outside of the Minneapolis Metro Area, we raise lowline beef cattle, horses, chickens and Irish Wolfhounds. We actually have 3 Irish Wolfhounds currently, and yes they do sleep in the bed. I have also served as a volunteer deputy for the Sheriff's Office Mounted Patrol for the past 12 years.
