Amir co-founded REM5 Virtual Reality Laboratory with the mission of making the worlds most advanced VR technology accessible to the community. On nights and weekends, REM5 opens up its event space to the public for entertainment – birthdays, corporate events, family outings – and during the day, REM5 is focused on using VR for impact – K-12 education, STEM camps, art, working with the disabled and elderly, industrial design, corporate training and empathy building.
Prior to founding REM5, Amir spent 12+ years in investment banking and corporate finance with a focus on mergers & acquisitions – BMO Capital Markets, Greene Holcomb Fisher and Chartwell Capital Solutions. He has been involved in more than 100 M&A transactions across a broad range of industries, with companies ranging from $10 million to more than $1 billion in revenue. Amir has his BSB (finance) from the Carlson School of Management.
